Tabitha Cate

I'm Tabitha. I am short, which I quite like because it enables me to wear very high heels, push in ques and get away with being a child when I pay for train tickets.
Loud when I want to be, get on with pretty much everyone except people I have had bad experiences with in the past.
I cut my hair really short last year, now trying to grow it. It needs to hurry up!
Work during the week, and party all weekend! Love it, and that's it. That is me!
Ok so I thought I’d write about a meaningful subject. As my blog is mostly made up of pictures, and random quotations.
I have become addicted to 16 and pregnant It’s been on, on MTV UK for about a year now, and we’ve even been treated to a season 2! Whenever it is on I tape it, as I’m usually to hungover to be up and about on a Sunday evening.
I have seen about ten episodes, and each one of them has managed to move me to tears or even shout at the screen. This is when I realised that MTV has done something very clever with this show. They’ve created a TV series educating teenagers on teen pregnancy, that draws them in and helps them to relate to each of the different girls and their families on the show, and want more.
But whilst it is grabbing the hearts of teenagers in the USA, and the UK. I’m not sure if it is glamourising teenage pregnancy or trying to prevent it. Sure they show you a different variety of girls that have all been in the same predicament, but they don’t show the hardships of teenage pregnancy, but just being pregnant, having incredibly supportive families, a free home, a beautiful baby, a boyfriend (not in some of their cases) and being able to go out with friends still.
Is this going to bring teenage pregnancy figures up or bring them drastically down?
Opinions?
